“When will this happen for me?”
“When will that happen for me?”
“I’m trying so hard and been working so hard, and some things come quite naturally, but others just seem impossible…how do I get better?”
These are the mundane questions I ask my mentor.
Her answer: “When you accept all beings in the cosmos.”
Me (in my head): OK…got some ways to go.
In this digital age, she doesn’t sell herself everywhere online. No courses. No funnels. No following. No email blasts. No blog. Most would never recognize her on the street.
Yet…her cosmic connection is the strongest I have ever experienced.
I met her when I was just waking up. But I wasn’t very psychic then. I followed everyone I could find online, especially the ones with big followings. She was one of dozens. Because she isn’t really active online, we lost touch for half a year.
Then one day, through her partner who is more active online, she asked him to post in a group that I’m in that she’s looking for me. Just pure intuition.
So we reconnected. I had gone through quite a bit of the Seven Stages of Alchemy by then, and was far more psychic. In that time, I had stopped following most of the people I used to follow. I still look at their content from time to time, but it’s just much easier to separate the noise from the signal now. It only takes psychically tuning into a person (or animal or plant) to know how clean their energy is, and what their strengths and weaknesses are.
People get a little scared when they hear this. Like a good psychic can get super intrusive into their lives and secrets. But the reality is, we don’t do that unless asked to. When I go to my friend’s birthday party, I listen to her talk about normal 3D stuff like how tough it is to be a first time mother and the ups and downs of her job. Same with all the other people at the party. I don’t tune into them.
We all have our journeys. It is not necessary to force others to conform to or even understand us. Nor should we force them to heal or change according to our standards of what’s right. Rather, we can simply hold space for them to feel heard, loved, and appreciated. With a healthy dose of boundaries, of course.
Call it witnessing. Witnessing the comings and goings of the Universe.
That’s another thing I learned from my mentor. She never lectured me, even when I was just at the beginning of my journey. She held space for me, listened to me, and let me figure things out in my own time. Didn’t offer to teach me anything. Still doesn’t.
Just some sharings about life and interesting experiences like a conversation between old friends.
So when we reconnected, I tuned into her and knew she was special. That cosmic connection is the highest expression of sublime. And her voice carries so much richness and healing like I have never heard before. Feels like going to a spa listening to it.
She also has the type of warmth and consistency missing in many spiritual practitioners. So many healers get overwhelmed, forgetful, or still feel self-conscious, self-doubt…this may lead them to become hermits, or feel drained as empaths, or unintentionally lecture others about the greatness of their spiritual experiences (spiritual ego).
Hearing about her astral experiences still puts me in a state of awe. They are intense and powerful, but not painful at all. She embraces it fully.
This is the beauty of doing substantial subtraction (shadow work). So many Lightworkers talk and share extensively about their astral experiences. Some even draw them out in great detail like a storyboard. Others are fabulous writers, telling the breathtaking stories like a battle from Lord of the Rings.
But after doing substantial shadow work, what I can tell from most of those stories is that they are filled with veils, illusions, and holograms. Not all false of course, but most people can’t tell the difference between real and illusion. Everything is real to them. That’s OK to the person telling the story, as it’s part of their journey, but it can be a bit misleading to their followers, especially if they have many.
It’s also called noisy channeling. This is why proper shadow work is essential for rapid advancement. Without it, your experiences will be filled with veils-illusions-holograms and will have little to no connection with manifestation in the physical world. It hardly contains any real meaning…no different than going on an acid trip.
A note on shadow work that I mentioned to someone recently: learn to differentiate the real practitioners from the novices. Someone who only teaches others to write down thoughts in journals and “spend time with your shadow” in order to “reflect on it and understand it,” is not doing their audiences any favors. You’ll get plenty of chances to “understand” and “meet” your shadow during your shadow work journey. The gold is in the How to Transmute Your Shadow. Just thinking and “understanding” it won’t do that. Saying general statements like “I release my soul contracts and negativity” isn’t enough either. If that’s all a teacher or guide can offer, then need to reconsider.
This is also why I have seen so many people say that they have done “extensive” shadow work yet feel super depressed or haven’t really unlocked any psychic abilities. We all go through periods of fluctuations, including myself, but nobody should be stuck in a state of prolonged depression/conflict/confusion/unworthiness. If this is you, again…reconsider the methods. Learn kinesiology and measure yourself and what % of your shadow has been transmuted.
For those who are quite advanced in shadow work/subtraction, and has unlocked many powers, but still feel unhappy quite often, consider this: Red Light work also needs to be balanced with White Light work. As does masculine and feminine. As does astral and material. Aim for that spiritual gold at the center of the graph from this previous article.
When I tune in, I know my mentor’s experiences are real (she’s taking a tour of Ancient Egypt at the moment). Even though I don’t fully understand what she describes, I know the energy of it is clean. And I know that it just means I haven’t gotten to that level of consciousness yet.
Something she always tells me is that we are meant to find each other. Not just her and me. But all of us on this journey. We have met, often more than once, in previous lives. Some on Earth, some in other Universes and Multiverses. Our soul fragments are eternal.
And because we are connected to the Cosmos, each one of us is also a Star, a planet, a Supernova, etc. That is not a metaphorical statement, inspirational quote, or illusion. We are…in the physical sense. It does take a strong Cosmic awareness to be fully conscious of this. Some soul fragments have it more naturally than others, but it can be built up for everyone. The same concept applies to animals, plants, and all beings. For instance, I’m measuring myself to be around 33% of all Blue Morpho Butterflies, and 9.3% of Eagles. What we are initially told are our Spirit Animals, are in fact, us. Same soul, different body or physical expression.
Exploring the Cosmos (without veils-illusions-holograms) is fun. I’ve met the Cosmic Serpent so far, and there’s also a Cosmic Kitty. Why does it matter in our day-to-day? Because being connected is everything. Many times our depression comes from believing that we are isolated and alone. But once we open ourselves up to the Cosmos, the Sun, the Moon, the Earth…everything opens up and feels beautiful. Our connections with each other feel meaningful and special, and the lower vibrational interactions disappear over time.
This is beautiful and I can feel this connection between mentor and apprentice. I love mine just as much and through sharing of our experiences ...it was like we have known each other since our energies collided with this Earth. I am like you I had stumbled upon the 7 stages out of random research I was doing. I had always had been intrigued by Alchemy, but until I merged back into meeting Spirit, I thought it was intriguing ....but I saw it as unethical and not of logic. This was always my problem...all intellect gets the body nowhere. Then doing research for a project I was doing, about the archetypes of the Zodiac, C.J. Jung, I had ran into his work on Psychology vs. Religion and Spiritual Alchemy. I was HOOKED..it was as if I finally found the missing element that I had been unconsciously searching for.... and it all just makes so much frackin' sense now. haha :) Thank you for sharing!! Speaking of spirit animals ... I am about to start learning the ways of Owl Medicine...my mentor said it would be a good subject for me to look into...and would help strengthen my medium abilities. Is this something you know of? If so, I would love to hear your thoughts.
